Founded in 1994 purely out of love for the music and because of the missing platforms in Germany to put out soulful dance music, mainly inspired from the US and UK scene.

Peppermint Jam has played an integral part in the evolution of the international Soulful House and Disco sound with Mousse T. leading the charge with a string of iconic releases along the way.

With the power of the in-house distribution company Peppermint Jam was able to build the network across the globe and properly living the independent mindset. This put Peppermint Jam on the map internationally for quality house music coming from Germany which was a novelty back then and it opened the doors for a new sound in dance floor which was soulful yet chunky. Due to 30 years of experience Peppermint Jam is interested in long term artist development and also supporting upcoming artists. Peppermint Jam is proud to have a global network of artists and our priority is to always stay connected closely.

A huge step for Peppermint Jam was moving to the former Expo ground in Hannover and bundling all actives in the Peppermint Pavillon: Studios, event location, creative spaces and the one of a kind roof top restaurant, Funky Kitchen. Not to forget the digital radio station, Peppermint FM!
